Ortzi Calzado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 21st minute, TunaFC's Ortzi Calzado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ortzi Calzado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sezgin Ulutaş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ortzi Calzado was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ortzi Calzado's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Çağdaş Zago got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ortzi Calzado. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ortzi Calzado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Min Alacuart came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, TunaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ortzi Calzado to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ortzi Calzado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ortzi Calzado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Sezgin Ulutaş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Sezgin Ulutaş made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Min Alacuart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Min Alacuart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to TunaFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Pieter-Jan Anteunis hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ortzi Calzado in the 90th minute of the match. When Guillermo Mariano fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Ortzi Calzado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TunaFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
