Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Heigo Luiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Tom Misaki tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Buford Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buford Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Misaki's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Misaki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Tom Misaki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buford Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buford Lim came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Buford Lim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Zorita went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Tom Misaki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Tom Misaki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 33rd minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Ovando in the 37th minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 39th minute. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heigo Luiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Lisandro Mederi got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Buford Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Heigo Luiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Buford Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Buford Lim made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Misaki in the 63rd minute of play. Facundo Cadaval blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Buford Lim having to make a save. With a little luck, C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Buford Lim however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Misaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Tom Misaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Tom Misaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Buford Lim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A.Independiente made a substitution. Quentin Holman replaced Ambrosio Ovando. C.A.Independiente made a substitution. Justino Confesor replaced Heigo Luiga. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Confesor in the 92nd minute of play. Mexico played a much better game than C.A.Independiente and deserved their victory. The C.A.Independiente players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
