When Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Alex Dijoux's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Alex Dijoux took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Darío Verón, made in the 15th minute of the game. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Clark Kent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Chicote during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Darío Verón. 26 minutes into the match, Alex Dijoux had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Dijoux was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Zorros del Desierto were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastián Roco took the corner. In the 33rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Alex Dijoux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zorros del Desierto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Dijoux came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Dijoux didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-0 via right post in the game's 46th minute. Zorros del Desierto's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Dijoux to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux. But to his dismay, Alex Dijoux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Zorros del Desierto's Zenaido Oviedo was substituted for Pape Lillo. Zorros del Desierto's Darío Verón quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 59th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Alex Dijoux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Pablo Abdallah hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Alex Dijoux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorros del Desierto's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Dijoux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Darío Verón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Allan Silm replaced Alex Dijoux. After 69 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. In the 70th minute of the match Sebastián Roco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. After 73 minutes, Allan Silm made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Zorros del Desierto fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Zorros del Desierto's Allan Silm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 80 minutes into the game, Darío Verón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zorros del Desierto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Darío Verón got a free kick in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Silm in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Silm came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Silm in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Silm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Zorros del Desierto were the better team. Zorros del Desierto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
