In the 4th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clark Kent saved Zorros del Desierto from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clark Kent was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 21st minute Alex Dijoux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Pablo Abdallah hit a great ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Dijoux's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alex Dijoux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorros del Desierto's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Dijoux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clark Kent saved Zorros del Desierto from getting behind. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cai Jian Chang hit a great ball. Clark Kent stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Clark Kent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zorros del Desierto's Zenaido Oviedo was substituted for Pape Lillo. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Allan Silm replaced Alex Dijoux. In the 73rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Clark Kent despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Allan Silm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 91st minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clark Kent saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Allan Silm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zorros del Desierto.
