Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erlantz Gainzarain took the kick off in the first half of the match. Birra Bizarra's Lohitzun Reigosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Romeo Piñeiros sent off a good shot on target. Birra Bizarra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Beltza Feyjo in the 11th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Gainzarain, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erlantz Gainzarain in the 26th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Erlantz Gainzarain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lohitzun Reigosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 38th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlantz Gainzarain in the 39th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Gainzarain in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlantz Gainzarain in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Birra Bizarra's Marciano Aeta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Poncio Zalaeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lohitzun Reigosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lohitzun Reigosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poncio Zalaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Birra Bizarra succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
