Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cláudio Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Almeida came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Righi in the 7th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to H Romeu getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Tomás Veloso hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cláudio Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmine Righi got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of H Romeu booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. H Romeu's Luiz Gustavo Damião got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manoel Neiva hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmine Righi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Righi in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carmine Righi took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 63rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Carmine Righi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The H Romeu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ulryk Czubski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Baruffa came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led H Romeu's Luiz Gustavo Damião to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Righi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Righi in the 76th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 80th minute of the game was made by Luiz Gustavo Damião with Ulryk Czubski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Czubski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of H Romeu booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the H Romeu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. H Romeu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
