Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, H Romeu's Dito Santos got a free kick in the 7th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after H Romeu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ulryk Czubski sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the game, Ulryk Czubski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Ulryk Czubski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in H Romeu's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Motta came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Baruffa in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, H Romeu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Santos to maneuver through the defense. Carmine Righi struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for H Romeu. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye H Romeu's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Motta. H Romeu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After having played for 43 minutes, Ulryk Czubski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. H Romeu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulryk Czubski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The supporters of H Romeu booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Carmine Righi made the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulryk Czubski in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. H Romeu's Cláudio Motta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save H Romeu from getting a goal against them. After 75 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. If Carmine Righi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Cláudio Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. H Romeu's Cláudio Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 86th minute of play. After 90 played minutes H Romeu got a freekick which was hit by Anton Brãgutã. Cláudio Motta was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The H Romeu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
