Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Hoàng Thuy sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, Fabinho Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Alvarenga having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Rosa in the 13th minute of play. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Alvarenga having to interfere. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinei Rosa's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Fernando Alvarenga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 40th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Uno Mille FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dinei Rosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Carlos Fernando Alvarenga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristian Sancho had several of the Uno Mille FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Carlos Fernando Alvarenga as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Alvarenga having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 64th minute of play forced Uno Mille FC's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Dinei Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Agustín Saelices made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Fernando Alvarenga. Uno Mille FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Carlos Fernando Alvarenga. After 94 played minutes Uno Mille FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Mandrak. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Uno Mille FC.
