GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. Abderrahmane Mekhloufi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Nassim Mansouri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Nassim Mansouri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Fernandino in the 21st minute of play forced GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedrich Engels in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 34 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Tedj Fahima. In the 36th minute Nassim Mansouri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Baptiste Meskine charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean-Baptiste Meskine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Mario Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nassim Mansouri was the one to do the kick off. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum having to interfere. If Nassim Mansouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sid Ahmed Sennaoui made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Friedrich Engels however managed to control. Nassim Mansouri took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Eduardo Fontirroigs short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 77th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. Friedrich Engels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eduardo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Fernandino in the 84th minute. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 89th minute of play. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sid Ahmed Sennaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
