Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gustav Wallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play forced Peñaloza's goalkeeper Gustav Wallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gustav Wallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced Peñaloza's goalkeeper Gustav Wallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Delmiro Cai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peñaloza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Peñaloza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Cai to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustav Wallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joachim Gregersson in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play forced Peñaloza's goalkeeper Gustav Wallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustav Wallengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gustav Wallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Gustav Wallengren to make any attempt to save it. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peñaloza's goalkeeper Gustav Wallengren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernabe Garaile got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 68th match minute, Peñaloza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Garaile to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Peñaloza's Gustav Wallengren got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustav Wallengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's goalkeeper Gustav Wallengren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro.
