The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joonas Vestman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Barrancas live Club were awarded a corner. Albino Stephen went to the cornerflag to take it. Barrancas live Club's Albino Stephen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joonas Vestman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Alonzo Fidensio struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrancas live Club. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Alonzo Fidensio sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Alonzo Fidensio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Joonas Vestman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Joonas Vestman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joonas Vestman in the 38th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Barrancas live Club's Lorenzo Hug to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tibau Devaux was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Tibau Devaux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Tibau Devaux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Alonzo Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrancas live Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Fidensio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibau Devaux in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barrancas live Club's Traian Caramarin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 66 minutes of play, Barrancas live Club's Tibau Devaux made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibau Devaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Tibau Devaux scored 3-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Barrancas live Club's Tibau Devaux sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tibau Devaux went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the game, Tibau Devaux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barrancas live Club fully deserved thier win.
