Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ján Hanzel was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Juventud Unida's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Jesus Fix at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Peru. 1-0. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rainer Marthaler in the 11th minute. Saverio Petrigai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of the match. Emil Arendarski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 22 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jesús Banana managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Juventud Unida's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesús Banana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Banana in the 25th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ján Hanzel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on CA Juventud Unida's corner Jesus Fix fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of play forced CA Juventud Unida's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rainer Marthaler. After 46 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

CA Juventud Unida's Witomir Milko was substituted for Albano Argider. CA Juventud Unida's Clodoveo Hanni was substituted for Ján Hanzel. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rainer Marthaler made a kick off. CA Juventud Unida's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Milagros Fraga scored to the left of an out of position Emil Arendarski, making the score, 2-3. Julian Murillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emil Arendarski could save by the left post. CA Juventud Unida's Emil Arendarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save CA Juventud Unida from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Petrigai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Eliseo Mina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Peru's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 87 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Emil Arendarski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to CA Juventud Unida getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Modesto Cheche hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Rainer Marthaler came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
