Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabrício Lustosa got the match started through his kick off. Luca Zorita's late challenge caught a Academia Monte Gordo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Zorita helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's Fabrício Lustosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luca Zorita got his second yellow card in the match during the 4th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mao Zhen Hong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Facundo Cadaval went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. Fabrício Lustosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes in the game Macos Graciani did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alberto Tafalla. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mao Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mao Zhen Hong came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fabrício Lustosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Academia Monte Gordo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-2.

Macos Graciani made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Joel Gaona however managed to control. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Grucza, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 66 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adolfo Silva who took care of the corner kick. Academia Monte Gordo's Adolfo Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Academia Monte Gordo's Kartal Kartalov was substituted for Pascual Mouricio. After 71 minutes Academia Monte Gordo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mao Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fryderyk Grucza struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia Monte Gordo. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Sergipano in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Cadaval got free with Mao Zhen Hong in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Sergipano in the 93rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
