With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Gunnar Deisler tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Daniel Agostini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Diablofaryd F.C.'s zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grzegorz Szamotulski came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Diablofaryd F.C.'s Daniel Agostini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Diablofaryd F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Maksymilian Pyczkowski hit a great ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wagner Kill in the 30th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wagner Kill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Diablofaryd F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Carballar came free, but Grzegorz Szamotulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The referee ignored Diablofaryd F.C.'s protests and gave Eugenio Mena a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Diablofaryd F.C.'s Eugenio Mena got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Mariano Lacasa, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Deisler in the 64th minute of play. The Diablofaryd F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chile had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
