After 42 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Edward Mcdonald. The supporters of Al Hueso FC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Vinicio Dolfo charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Dolfo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Al Hueso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Dolfo to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Cedro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The USA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Al Hueso FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
