Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vicente Antunes kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes, Camilo Franco made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. MALAIA FDFDF's Paulo Renato Donatello tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Vicente Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Renato Donatello saved MALAIA FDFDF from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Arturo Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Arturo Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MALAIA FDFDF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dito Sousa hit a great ball. MALAIA FDFDF's Paulo Renato Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 30th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in MALAIA FDFDF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 40th minute. Joélson Almeida's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joélson Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Joélson Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Uruguay were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Donatello having to interfere. The supporters of Uruguay booed when MALAIA FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Renato Donatello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 60th minute. Maurinho Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Paulo Renato Donatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. In the 76th minute, Leopoldo Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Francisco Seco took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Paulo Renato Donatello to make any attempt to save it. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Paulo Renato Donatello skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Francisco Seco in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulo Renato Donatello, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Uruguay played a much better game than MALAIA FDFDF and deserved their victory. The MALAIA FDFDF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
