Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lino Berger made the kick off and thus started the match. Didi Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of the match. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute. A nice corner shot did that Salvador Gisbert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Didi Lima quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Berger got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Didi Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 18th minute of play. Didi Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Sílvio Luiz de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz de Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. With a little luck, Meia Ronda's Didi Lima got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Meia Ronda's Igor Mazurkiewicz was substituted for Zafer Teoman. In the 60th minute, Sílvio Luiz de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Gilvan Tavares notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, Meia Ronda's goalkeeper Didi Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Gilvan Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Sílvio Luiz de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meia Ronda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Luiz de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Tavares in the 88th minute of play. Sílvio Luiz de Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save.
