Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when M. Agus Young kicked off to start the match. M. Agus Young recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when M. Agus Young came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Florentino Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, M. Agus Young managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Lucia de Merlo's supporters rose to their feet, but M. Agus Young was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florentino Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Pascal Som hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. M. Agus Young struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Lucia de Merlo. When Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. After 43 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Luz Tejedor. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Anthony Alvarado hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Levan Poggenborg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Levan Poggenborg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Florentino Herauso made a huge save. In the 56th minute, M. Agus Young left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Lucia de Merlo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 59th minute, Alvaro Llorienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Llorienzo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Polo Quinteros's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Polo Quinteros came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentino Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of play. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 79th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Salamon in the 81st minute of play. Polo Quinteros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Eliseo Mina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florentino Herauso. That made the score 1-1 after 86 minutes of play. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Alonso Berganza with Eliseo Alcocer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonso Berganza made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Alcocer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 97th minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
