Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Caballeritos del Baile's Jairo Deunoro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 14th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Urtsua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua. Angelo Urtsua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jairo Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Elpidio Hitz hit a great ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Deunoro went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's Jairo Deunoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Angelo Urtsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Agustin Ilixo hit a great ball. Jairo Deunoro kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Deunoro made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Deunoro in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Angelo Urtsua firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jairo Deunoro struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caballeritos del Baile. Angelo Urtsua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Urtsua. That made the score 3-2 after 67 minutes of play. Luisito Gaizkine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Caballeritos del Baile from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Jairo Deunoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Jairo Deunoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Deunoro in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Jairo Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Deunoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Rasialdo to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Urtsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94thth minute of the game Jairo Deunoro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
