In the 8th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Rasialdo to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Deunoro in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Angelo Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes, Alberto Tafalla made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Urtsua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 29th minute of play. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Deunoro's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Caballeritos del Baile's Esteve Kusko got a free kick in the 40th minute. Esteve Kusko kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Angelo Urtsua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Cadaval. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Angelo Urtsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Urtsua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Urtsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Urtsua having to interfere. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of play. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Caballeritos del Baile from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Deunoro in the 73rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Urtsua saved Caballeritos del Baile from getting behind. In the 77th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Urtsua made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Esteve Kusko hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Angelo Urtsua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Emil Rasialdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Leoz charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Leoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Esteve Kusko a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Caballeritos del Baile fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
