Kléber Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fellipe Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kléber Motta. In the 36th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Kléber Motta. Goth Cloudy Experience's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Kléber Motta made a huge save. Kléber Motta made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Rômulo Vaz's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rômulo Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kléber Motta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The Goth Cloudy Experience fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
