The supporters of Venezuela booed when Amputees FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Laing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Carleton Howie came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. Thanks to some nice moves Marcus Roach could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Laing got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dean Watts. Marcus Roach was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Amputees FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Amputees FC's Carleton Howie got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abraham Laing to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amputees FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's goalkeeper Dean Watts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 62nd match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Art Kidman to maneuver through the defense. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Laing, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dean Watts was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 75th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dean Watts, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Amputees FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Amputees FC's Abraham Laing looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Laing in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Ed Royans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
