Carleton Howie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Dean Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute of the match. Amputees FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ed Royans in the 17th minute. The corner led Amputees FC's Ed Royans to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Dean Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dean Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amputees FC's Dean Watts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 32nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Roach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 43rd match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Royans to maneuver through the defense. Dean Watts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. Abraham Laing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Abraham Laing had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Laing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Dean Watts in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Abraham Laing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ed Royans kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Laing in the 70th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Lauder Franklin. 73 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Dean Watts threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Daniel Zorita this time. In the 76th minute, Abraham Laing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amputees FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Dean Watts in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Andino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Dean Watts skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Roach in the 84th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dean Watts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Ed Royans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Amputees FC could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
