Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cássio Rocks started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Paulopolis's Dieguinho Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petre Encuțescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito got control of the ball when Cássio Rocks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivor Peake in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cayetano Rito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luís Paulo Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Petre Encuțescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Paulopolis's zone, Ivor Peake stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Rito came out of the goal and Ivor Peake tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dieguinho Amaral in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Encuțescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivor Peake. Dieguinho Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Encuțescu having to interfere. In the 40th minute of the match Wilfredo Lazcano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cayetano Rito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Maurício Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dieguinho Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Lazcano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Zecku's Petre Encuțescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Sabóia in the 48th minute of play. Paulopolis were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Zecku's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cícero Reis took the corner. After taking down the ball on Paulopolis's corner Cícero Reis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Petre Encuțescu quite easily take care of the ball.

The wind increased when Dieguinho Amaral made the kick off in the second half. Dieguinho Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Encuțescu having to interfere. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Rocks in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Zecku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Sylvester to maneuver through the defense. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Vaz in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Paulopolis's Cícero Reis got a free kick in the 66th minute. Zecku's Wilfredo Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Rocks came free, but Cayetano Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Rocks in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Carneiro in the 75th minute of play forced Zecku's goalkeeper Petre Encuțescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Zecku booed when Paulopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Lazcano in the 77th minute of the match. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emīls Umbrass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dieguinho Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cícero Reis hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Lazcano didn't quite understand what happened when in the 86 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emīls Umbrass in the 88th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Zecku's Júlio Vaz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Rito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulopolis were furious when George Smitt was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 94 played minutes Paulopolis got a freekick which was hit by George Smitt. After a defensive mix-up in Paulopolis's zone, Wilfredo Lazcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Rito came out of the goal and Wilfredo Lazcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Rocks, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Paulopolis's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
