With a little luck, Rothwell Park's Per-Erik Hjortberg got control of the ball when Calle Beck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bucharia Reco's Iie Martadi got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Erik Hjortberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimmy Hjälm in the 10th minute. After 16 minutes, Iie Martadi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rothwell Park's Per-Erik Hjortberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Per-Erik Hjortberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calle Beck went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Shekhar Biwott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gilbert Winnicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Adolfo Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Winnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Ian Uggstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Erik Hjortberg. Rothwell Park's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Uggstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Gilbert Winnicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Beck in the 58th minute of play forced Rothwell Park's goalkeeper Per-Erik Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Iie Martadi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Erik Hjortberg. Rothwell Park's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iie Martadi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Per-Erik Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Uggstedt in the 92nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rothwell Park players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bucharia Reco.
