Alejandro Papaggelatos might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Rito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Papaggelatos ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruy Carneiro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Papaggelatos in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes Paulopolis's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esteban Cambiasso who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Paulopolis's goalie and right to Liev Tolstoy. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Paulopolis's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Alejandro Papaggelatos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Rito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 28th minute, Elano Negro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Alejandro Papaggelatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on La Armada Buscapina's corner Esteban Cambiasso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cayetano Rito quite easily take care of the ball. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Papaggelatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Papaggelatos struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Cayetano Rito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Armada Buscapina. Alejandro Papaggelatos took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejandro Papaggelatos to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Paulopolis's Sérgio Gonçalves got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Paulopolis getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Enrique Falcão hit a great ball. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Papaggelatos in the 54th minute of the match. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Cambiasso in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, La Armada Buscapina's Alejandro Papaggelatos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Rito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 62nd match minute, Paulopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Veloso to maneuver through the defense. La Armada Buscapina made a substitution. Casimiro Librado replaced 贺剑永. Henrique Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paulopolis's zone, Alejandro Papaggelatos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Rito came out of the goal and Alejandro Papaggelatos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Alejandro Papaggelatos notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Liev Tolstoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cayetano Rito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Armada Buscapina's Nunez Natanael was substituted for Bruno Eguntsenti. In the 76th minute, Denílson Ronaldinho made a precise shot to the right of Cayetano Rito. Paulopolis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. La Armada Buscapina's attentive Casimiro Librado managed to snatch the ball when Enrique Falcão made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Ronaldinho in the 80th minute of play. La Armada Buscapina were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Paulopolis's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteban Cambiasso took the corner. Esteban Cambiasso made a great header on La Armada Buscapina's corner, it was just that Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito managed to reach the ball for a save. After taking down the ball on La Armada Buscapina's corner Camilo Claus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cayetano Rito quite easily take care of the ball. When La Armada Buscapina's Denílson Ronaldinho in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paulopolis's goalie prevented a goal. Denílson Ronaldinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Esteban Cambiasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Rito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Cambiasso ran back to his position shaking his head. Denílson Ronaldinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Rito having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the La Armada Buscapina players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
