Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Walter Mutuku got the match started through his kick off. Teófilo Vilanova hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Walter Mutuku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Walter Mutuku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rothwell Park's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Mutuku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rothwell Park's Walter Mutuku got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Minteuan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Rothwell Park were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Brown de Adrogué's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sammy Keino took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Shekhar Biwott heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Sammy Keino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Carlomagno having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Walter Mutuku left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rothwell Park fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Brown de Adrogué were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Rothwell Park's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dario Jordy took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Casimiro Innocenzio advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 32nd minute. Walter Mutuku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 51st minute Sammy Keino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Pablo Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörgen Odeen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Tony Githinji Muhoho made a huge save. Shekhar Biwott kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Rothwell Park getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Shekhar Biwott hit a great ball. Anier Txurio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Godofredo Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Keino in the 70th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Rothwell Park's William Mohamed made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Carlomagno was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Christopher Mbugua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Brown de Adrogué's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Brown de Adrogué may have spent more time on the ball, but Rothwell Park were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
