La Armada Buscapina's Esteban Cambiasso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petre Encuțescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Petre Encuțescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Papaggelatos in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute La Armada Buscapina were awarded a corner. Esteban Cambiasso went to the cornerflag to take it. With his leg Chupan Moco managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Zecku's Emīls Umbrass fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Emīls Umbrass sped through La Armada Buscapina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chupan Moco. La Armada Buscapina's Chupan Moco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emīls Umbrass in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the game David Miliano made a throw-in which Cássio Rocks played forward. After a rather tough play, Zecku's Amadeo Pudes got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Alejandro Papaggelatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Encuțescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Alejandro Papaggelatos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petre Encuțescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Chupan Moco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emīls Umbrass in the 31st minute. Petre Encuțescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Papaggelatos in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes Zecku's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esteban Cambiasso who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Liev Tolstoy heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 36 minutes into the match, La Armada Buscapina's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Vaz came free, but Chupan Moco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejandro Papaggelatos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petre Encuțescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Chupan Moco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Zecku's Isidoro Manilan was substituted for Amadeo Pudes. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

La Armada Buscapina's Chupan Moco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Vaz in the 56th minute of play. When Liev Tolstoy came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the La Armada Buscapina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liev Tolstoy couldn't finish the play. Denílson Ronaldinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Chupan Moco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Rocks in the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Denílson Ronaldinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petre Encuțescu was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Denílson Ronaldinho sped through Zecku's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Petre Encuțescu. In the 91st minute, Denílson Ronaldinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Armada Buscapina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. In the 95th minute, Denílson Ronaldinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petre Encuțescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. The La Armada Buscapina players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
