Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th play minute Cheng Qian Qiang came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 1-0. Thomás Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cheng Qian Qiang in the 14th minute. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. In the 19th minute Eliézer de Carvalho managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Urbano Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rejunte de perros. 25 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Armani. Rejunte de perros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheng Qian Qiang in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cheng Qian Qiang in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Cheng Qian Qiang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. If Urbano Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomás Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomás Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Thomás Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomás Barral in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Thomás Barral notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomás Barral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Thomás Barral came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Rejunte de perros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomás Barral couldn't finish the play. Rejunte de perros's Gabriel Tulio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Camilo Gaos in the 61 minute of the game. In the 64th minute of the match Paulo Fix sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Thomás Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Rejunte de perros's Rogelio Funes Mori was substituted for Thomás Barral. Rejunte de perros's Serge Grandidier was substituted for Urbano Vimaro. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Funes Mori went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Funes Mori in the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Rogelio Funes Mori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Rogelio Funes Mori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Rogelio Funes Mori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Rogelio Funes Mori came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Rejunte de perros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Funes Mori couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Funes Mori's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The supporters of Rejunte de perros booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rejunte de perros fully deserved thier win.
