The supporters of Commander Crowe booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 13th minute of the match, Nicasio Gotzon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 15 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cyprian Sitko who took care of the corner kick. 16 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvard Fagerberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play forced Commander Crowe's goalkeeper Edvard Fagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Phil Fode hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Gotzon was the one to do the kick off. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Edvard Fagerberg made a huge save. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Sitko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvard Fagerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 60th minute of the match. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Gotzon in the 85th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Commander Crowe's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Edvard Fagerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Commander Crowe getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Alfredo Ireno hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Rafael Gallo made a precise shot to the right of Edvard Fagerberg. Commander Crowe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
