If Şota Arveladze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Tirso Isasaga took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Tanek Ostrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Adrian Bobeanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. After 21 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tanek Ostrowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 28th minute. Tanek Ostrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 33rd minute of play. Axel Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Olympique Gdynia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dante Obano hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Bobeanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Axel Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tanek Ostrowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Tanek Ostrowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Tanek Ostrowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tirso Isasaga in the 57th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanek Ostrowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Tanek Ostrowski made a huge save. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Adrian Bobeanu struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Gdynia. 2-1 became the score in the 77th minute when Tirso Isasaga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 81st minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Olympique Gdynia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tirso Isasaga in the 87th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Tanek Ostrowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Darwin in the 92nd minute of play.
