Milagros Fraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guo Ling Nan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Preslav Famparski in the 9th minute of play. Guo Ling Nan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leocadio Hebia in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Preslav Famparski in the 15th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play forced THE CLUB's goalkeeper Guo Ling Nan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guo Ling Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the THE CLUB defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guo Ling Nan. The THE CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guo Ling Nan should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Carmine Mancinelli in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After some careless play in the THE CLUB defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guo Ling Nan. The THE CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guo Ling Nan should have stopped the shot. Guo Ling Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 44th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Preslav Famparski took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. The THE CLUB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Carmine Mancinelli threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Carmine Mancinelli in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Guo Ling Nan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. After 68 minutes THE CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. 73 minutes into the match, THE CLUB's goalkeeper Guo Ling Nan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Milagros Fraga took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Guo Ling Nan to make any attempt to save it. THE CLUB's Chavdar Belezhkov was substituted for Leocadio Hebia. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carmine Mancinelli, made in the 81st minute of the game. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mincho Robledo in the 90th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carmine Mancinelli, made in the 93rd minute of the game. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
