Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Amato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Rik in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Alvaro Amato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Lluques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 20th minute Agustín Saelices collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Ecuador made a substitution. Diego Mancebo replaced Agustín Saelices. In the 21st minute, Cesar Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Cipriano Rik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Alvaro Amato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute of the match, Cesar Garcia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. When Cesar Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the MONCHOSFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Garcia couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Rik to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Sedat Göçer in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. MONCHOSFC's attentive Patricio Fidele managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Andino made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Amato having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Galo Kura hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Amato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 84th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MONCHOSFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MONCHOSFC's Cipriano Rik got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 88 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
