Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Emilio Machado sent off a good shot on target. If Emilio Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Felix Donciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Felix Donciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Felix Donciu. Werneck FC - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Machado in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Werneck FC - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joélson Amaral in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Donciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Werneck FC - DMZ's Emilio Machado in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Caetano Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Donciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Joélson Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Joélson Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Werneck FC - DMZ's Basílio Baiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 33rd minute, Caetano Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Donciu. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Donciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Machado in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Donciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Emilio Machado made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Luz was substituted for Sebastian Kiszkiel. Joélson Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fu Ting Nan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fu Ting Nan came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Werneck FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fu Ting Nan couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fu Ting Nan hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Emilio Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Werneck FC - DMZ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
