Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Japy Man's Luisito Salvino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Honduras:s Lautaro Navarro showed great skill when he stopped Darman Ardiansyah:s penalty. Luisito Salvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the game Artemio Marcones made a throw-in which Darman Ardiansyah played forward. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Darman Ardiansyah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luisito Salvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute of play. In the 26th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Salvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Japy Man's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Luisito Salvino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 29 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Japy Man's Luisito Salvino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Japy Man getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Geir Alstad hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darman Ardiansyah. Moises Tafalla's late challenge caught a Japy Man's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Tafalla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Artemio Marcones. In the 44th match minute, Japy Man was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darman Ardiansyah to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Honduras were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darman Ardiansyah to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Japy Man got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Gotzon. In the 53rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Japy Man's Darman Ardiansyah got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 60th minute of play forced Japy Man's goalkeeper Luisito Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Honduras booed when Japy Man was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darman Ardiansyah, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Darman Ardiansyah came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Darman Ardiansyah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A collision led to Japy Man getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Geir Alstad hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Salvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darman Ardiansyah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Marcones made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Darman Ardiansyah. Geir Alstad hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Luisito Salvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Salvino saved Japy Man from getting behind. The Honduras players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
