Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dário Mesquita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Enéas Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Dário Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. Isaltino Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 7th minute of play. In the 13th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match, Enéas Carneiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Mesquita in the 18th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaltino Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Danone CC's Ademir Aparecido was substituted for Oséas Chaves. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Isaltino Couto in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaltino Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Zorita went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Luca Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Isaltino Couto. Danone CC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. The supporters of Mexico booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Isaltino Couto to make any attempt to save it. 73 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goalkeeper Isaltino Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Luque. 75 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaltino Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isaltino Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 78th minute of play. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. In the 88th minute, Mexico's Macos Graciani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaltino Couto. Isaltino Couto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 92nd minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Isaltino Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Fausto Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Facundo Cadaval took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaltino Couto. Isaltino Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
