Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andre Shakespeare took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Vecdi Başesgioğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vecdi Başesgioğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Greenbay booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Tyler Morton threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lu Wagner charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lu Wagner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eugen Remus came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Shakespeare in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Mato Špišić got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 27th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Remus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Shakespeare came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Almiron in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute Vecdi Başesgioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Almiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Shakespeare in the 63rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Morton, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Remus having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Greenbay's Will Alderson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Almiron in the 88th minute of play. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andre Shakespeare in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind.
