Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Cai Yue Guang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in MIT's zone, Andrei Cosor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calistrat Madgearu came out of the goal and Andrei Cosor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as MIT's Mihăiţă Ilarie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cai Yue Guang. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Cai Yue Guang made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Dorin Banu sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Yue Guang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Păvăloae came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiberiu Caramarin got free with Cai Yue Guang in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute of the match MIT got a corner. Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mihăiţă Ilarie ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Dorin Banu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Păvăloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45thth minute of the game Tiberiu Caramarin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cai Yue Guang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 53 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Istrăteanu. 57 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Madgearu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Andrei Cosor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 59 minutes into the match, Anton Cucerdean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. MIT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Cucerdean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 61 minutes in the game, Remus Pinatel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Calistrat Madgearu having to interfere. Tiberiu Caramarin scored 2-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cai Yue Guang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Calistrat Madgearu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Cosor in the 79th minute. Calistrat Madgearu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Păvăloae in the 80th minute. MIT's Aurel Buzea was substituted for Florin Seremet. After 98 minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bogdan Bucataru who took care of the corner kick. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. MIT were victorious despite being under pressure from Ninjas in Pyjamas for much of the match.
