Luís Guilherme Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chorche Viya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Alex Pedrera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Chorche Viya might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Guilherme Aparecido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chorche Viya ran back to his position shaking his head. Rio Pardo MZC's Luís Guilherme Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chorche Viya in the 33rd minute of play. Apolo Chica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Lalatu in the 39th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enéas Lago to make the kick off. Gavril Jula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Guilherme Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Pedrera in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Maximiliano Lalatu made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Chica. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rio Pardo MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Pedrera was slow to take the kick. During this time La Vieja Guardia Jrs's players had a chance to rest. After 61 minutes, Froilan Romillo made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rio Pardo MZC's Luís Guilherme Aparecido tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chorche Viya struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Luís Guilherme Aparecido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Vieja Guardia Jrs. If Chorche Viya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Alex Pedrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
