The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, COLDPLAY's Lütfi Özil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gumersindo Moreira. Gumersindo Moreira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gumersindo Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lütfi Özil in the 10th minute. Turan Uluçam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Bebeto Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turan Uluçam having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Boniel in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Turan Uluçam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 minutes of play, Boomer Fc's Marco Boniel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turan Uluçam was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute Marco Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Uluçam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Boniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boomer Fc's Bebeto Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tuna İrfan made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Abdurrahim Tunçkan immediately put the ball in play. 31 minutes into the game, Marco Boniel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Turan Uluçam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the match, Marco Boniel notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam. Turan Uluçam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marco Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute Marco Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Uluçam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Boniel scored 1-6 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Turan Uluçam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Boomer Fc's goalkeeper Gumersindo Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Demir. In the 44th minute COLDPLAY were awarded a corner. Enginalp Hilal went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 46th minute, Ayrton Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Codruț Domuță stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Boomer Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Domuță came free, but Gumersindo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xinto Torres in the 58th minute of play. Boomer Fc made a substitution. Vinícius Gol replaced Yunus Akgün. With a little luck, COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam got control of the ball when Marco Boniel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Boomer Fc's Marco Boniel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Turan Uluçam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Boomer Fc made a substitution. Tito Quintas replaced Bebeto Gaúcho. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Boomer Fc's Marco Boniel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Turan Uluçam. 95 minutes into the match, Marco Boniel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Turan Uluçam, 1-10. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Boomer Fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
