In the 20th minute Begu Ganjang were awarded a corner. Manuel Aurelianu went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 24th minute Mutu Surdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonio Bergada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Olando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anak Selby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Anak Selby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Olando. PLASNIKE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anak Selby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's Ponaryo Mangindaan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Olando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute Silverio Huly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonio Bergada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, PLASNIKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Ler to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Begu Ganjang's Ponaryo Mangindaan got a free kick in the 38th minute. PLASNIKE's Hector Olando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anak Selby in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Hector Olando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anak Selby's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Anak Selby scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Olando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Begu Ganjang's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Aurelianu in the 72nd minute.
