Gregory Hildmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Pellegrini in the 3rd minute. Ciro Pellegrini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Gregory Hildmann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chelco FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Flavio Profeta in the 8th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Rogelio Fe heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 10th minute, Ciro Pellegrini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Pellegrini in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregory Hildmann saved Saint Etienne from getting behind. In the 15th minute Chelco FC were awarded a corner. Flavio Profeta went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Flavio Profeta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gregory Hildmann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 17th match minute, Saint Etienne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günther Lentz to maneuver through the defense. After 20 minutes of play, Chelco FC's Rogelio Fe made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregory Hildmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Pellegrini got free with Gregory Hildmann in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregory Hildmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Pellegrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Gustavo Raymon in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Saint Etienne's Raphaël Favre. Rogelio Fe hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Suban Arriba kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Saint Etienne's goalkeeper Gregory Hildmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Pellegrini. Chelco FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Flavio Profeta in the 39th minute. Chelco FC's Flavio Profeta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gregory Hildmann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gregory Hildmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suban Arriba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saint Etienne's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Flavio Profeta was slow to take the kick. During this time Chelco FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chelco FC's Flavio Profeta to fire away a dangerous shot which Gregory Hildmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Saint Etienne's Gregory Hildmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Etienne from getting a goal against them. Suban Arriba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Pellegrini to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Etienne's zone, Ciro Pellegrini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregory Hildmann came out of the goal and Ciro Pellegrini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Ciro Pellegrini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gregory Hildmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Pellegrini in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Saint Etienne's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Pellegrini came free, but Gregory Hildmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chelco FC made a substitution. Leonardo Aznaro replaced Rogelio Fe. In the 67th minute Chelco FC were awarded a corner. Flavio Profeta went to the cornerflag to take it. Flavio Profeta made a great header on Chelco FC's corner, it was just that Saint Etienne's Gregory Hildmann managed to reach the ball for a save. When Chelco FC's Baldomero Rufio in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saint Etienne's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th match minute, Saint Etienne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphaël Favre to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Baldomero Rufio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregory Hildmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Suban Arriba in the 84th minute of play forced Saint Etienne's goalkeeper Gregory Hildmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregory Hildmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Rufio in the 85th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play, Chelco FC's Baldomero Rufio made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregory Hildmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonardo Aznaro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Baldomero Rufio made a precise shot to the right of Gregory Hildmann. Saint Etienne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0.
