Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vicente Pedroso kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Saint Etienne's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Pedroso came free, but Gregory Hildmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Saint Etienne defense, Onur Bumba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregory Hildmann. The Saint Etienne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregory Hildmann should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute, Ludwig Arendt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BÖRÜ's Kutluay Oytunç couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Saint Etienne. The audience was convinced that Bernhard Krier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anıl Berk Gurbet was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Gregory Hildmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onur Bumba in the 18th minute of the match. BÖRÜ were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Saint Etienne's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kutluay Oytunç took the corner. A collision led to Saint Etienne getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ralf Behm hit a great ball. Gregory Hildmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kutluay Oytunç in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onur Bumba in the 22nd minute of play forced Saint Etienne's goalkeeper Gregory Hildmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Matias Santikurtz made a precise shot to the right of Gregory Hildmann. Saint Etienne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Saint Etienne's Gregory Hildmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Pietrasz in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Timothy Hantzsch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saint Etienne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timothy Hantzsch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregory Hildmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Santikurtz in the 37th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

BÖRÜ's Berke Bıyık was substituted for Konstanty Chuchro. Gregory Hildmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Kuszczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Onur Bumba came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the BÖRÜ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Onur Bumba couldn't finish the play. Saint Etienne's Gregory Hildmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Etienne from getting a goal against them. Gregory Hildmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Bumba in the 64th minute of play. Vicente Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gregory Hildmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Santikurtz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Gregory Hildmann made a huge save. Bernhard Krier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Anıl Berk Gurbet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute BÖRÜ were awarded a corner. Kutluay Oytunç went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to BÖRÜ's Radowit Kuszczak getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gregory Hildmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Pedroso in the 81st minute of play. Lutz Schlaustein's late challenge caught a BÖRÜ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lutz Schlaustein helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Saint Etienne got a freekick which was hit by Lutz Schlaustein. In the 86th minute, Saint Etienne's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Onur Bumba fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. BÖRÜ's Vicente Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Pedroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Gregory Hildmann made a huge save. Anıl Berk Gurbet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernhard Krier in the 99th minute of play. BÖRÜ played a much better game than Saint Etienne and deserved their victory. The Saint Etienne players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
