An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeu Guedes in the 3rd minute of play forced Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Lazaros Kabantais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Ypiranga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Mendebal came free, but Petre Porumboiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeu Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Lazaros Kabantais made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Carlos Larpe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petre Porumboiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 17 played minutes Ypiranga FC got a freekick which was hit by Gică Leucuța. 17 minutes into the match, Ypiranga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Abajas came free, but Petre Porumboiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Los Materos FC got a corner. Ypiranga FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horacio Abajas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Petre Porumboiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Abajas in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Filomeno Mendebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Porumboiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Lazaros Kabantais made a huge save. Lazaros Kabantais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeu Guedes in the 26th minute. The wind increased when Filomeno Mendebal made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Mendebal got free with Petre Porumboiu in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 52 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Valera came free, but Lazaros Kabantais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petre Porumboiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Larpe went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Los Materos FC's Braulio Milian was substituted for Horacio Abajas. Los Materos FC's Tincho Palermo was substituted for Filomeno Mendebal. Los Materos FC's Elias Furman was substituted for Carlos Larpe. Ypiranga FC made a substitution. Dorival Dantas replaced Alex Valera. Lazaros Kabantais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Tincho Palermo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Petre Porumboiu, 0-4. The Los Materos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
