After some careless play in the Osmanlı İmparatorluğu defense, José Furlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yunus-Emre Balcik. The Osmanlı İmparatorluğu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yunus-Emre Balcik should have stopped the shot. Petre Porumboiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İrfan Altıncığlu in the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İrfan Altıncığlu in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Porumboiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Morten Langørgen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Petre Porumboiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Ypiranga FC's Romeu Guedes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yunus-Emre Balcik. Yunus-Emre Balcik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ypiranga FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arlindo Meireles took the corner. 27 minutes into the match, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Veiga came free, but Yunus-Emre Balcik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yunus-Emre Balcik made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Furlan in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Romeu Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yunus-Emre Balcik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petre Porumboiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İrfan Altıncığlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute İrfan Altıncığlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Porumboiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Luizinho Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ypiranga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osmanlı İmparatorluğu the free kick. A collision led to Ypiranga FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luizinho Veiga hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romeu Guedes to strike the kick off in the second half. Petre Porumboiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İrfan Altıncığlu in the 53rd minute of play. Alex Valera hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Freddy Maura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Furlan in the 62nd minute of play forced Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's goalkeeper Yunus-Emre Balcik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Morten Langørgen in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petre Porumboiu saved Ypiranga FC from getting behind. Morten Langørgen let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 64th minute shot 2-1 at rihgt post. Petre Porumboiu was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and İrfan Altıncığlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. İrfan Altıncığlu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Richard Rodrigues was substituted for İrfan Altıncığlu. In the 73rd minute Richard Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Porumboiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petre Porumboiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Langørgen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute of the match, Richard Rodrigues got a very nice opportunity to score, but Petre Porumboiu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 94 played minutes Osmanlı İmparatorluğu got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Maura. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu played a much better game than Ypiranga FC and deserved their victory. The Ypiranga FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
