The crowd rose to their feet as Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Slavcho Kanov. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Slavcho Kanov came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson. But to his dismay, Jan Persson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Erol Suer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gjermund Viste in the 13th minute of the match. Slavcho Kanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Persson's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Farstad in the 22nd minute of play forced Büyükçekmece FC.'s goalkeeper Erol Suer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Legia Stavanger got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Skulstad. Alvar Vester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Büyükçekmece FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gjermund Viste came free, but Erol Suer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eralp Köksan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Erol Suer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gjermund Viste in the 41st minute of play. Slavcho Kanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Persson to make the kick off. A collision led to Legia Stavanger getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Daniel Skulstad hit a great ball. Slavcho Kanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Persson in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Jan Persson put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Slavcho Kanov. When Eralp Köksan fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Büyükçekmece FC.'s protests and gave Eralp Köksan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Eralp Köksan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Büyükçekmece FC. booed when Legia Stavanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Skulstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Büyükçekmece FC.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
