The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PLUMIN. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for ITAFUT 4EVER. Pedro Luiz Perez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonides Matteo. 0-2. Leonides Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Viana in the 22nd minute of the match. Leonides Matteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Novaes in the 23rd minute of play. PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estevez Palmeira in the 46th minute of play. After some careless play in the PLUMIN defense, Orlando Mineiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Matteo. The PLUMIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Matteo should have stopped the shot. After the first half ITAFUT 4EVER were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Augusto Novaes made a kick off. Estevez Palmeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Matteo came out and tried to block the shot, but Estevez Palmeira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, José Augusto Novaes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonides Matteo. The goal made the score 0-8. ITAFUT 4EVER's Sidney Lima was substituted for Sebastião Diniz. In the 68thth minute of the game Orlando Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo got control of the ball when José Augusto Novaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Cristofol hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in PLUMIN's zone, Estevez Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Matteo came out of the goal and Estevez Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Orlando Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Matteo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Orlando Mineiro succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-10. After 83 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Orlando Mineiro made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Matteo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonides Matteo made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Augusto Novaes in the 88th minute. ITAFUT 4EVER's Estevez Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
