The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Edelmiro Bibiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celedonio Urritz got a throw-in 8 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ruperto Osmundo. 10 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Selatse came free, but Leonides Matteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Adrian Selatse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Matteo. PLUMIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Selatse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Club Dep. Union Madereros booed when PLUMIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Emeterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Osmundo in the 19th minute of play forced Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Albino Maldonado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Remir took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albino Maldonado. Albino Maldonado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Sazon in the 29th minute of play. Maximiliano Misael hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Albino Maldonado made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Enzo Remir sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Selatse in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Matteo saved PLUMIN from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Misael came free, but Leonides Matteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The PLUMIN fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when PLUMIN's Enzo Remir looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enzo Remir to strike the kick off in the second half. If Nemesio Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Maximiliano Misael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Adrian Selatse made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Matteo. PLUMIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 63rd minute Nemesio Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Matteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Misael in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Matteo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute Maximiliano Misael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Matteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maximiliano Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Flavio Emeterio made a precise shot to the right of Albino Maldonado. Club Dep. Union Madereros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Club Dep. With 97 minutes on the clock, Marcial Gelmiro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 98th match minute, Club Dep. Union Madereros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Gelmiro to maneuver through the defense. PLUMIN were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
