After 21 minutes, Mato Podlogar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Koper and the Dzikie Węże i Herbata players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mato Podlogar kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Dzikie Węże i Herbata got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Pochorylo. Marino Gregorič didn't quite understand what happened when in the 30 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Bogdan Erland hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some careless play in the FC Koper defense, Zbigniew Fudalej kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bine Šercelj. The FC Koper fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bine Šercelj should have stopped the shot. Marino Gregorič's late challenge caught a Dzikie Węże i Herbata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC Koper were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
