In the 8thth minute of the game Pedro Luís Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Koper's Bine Šercelj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Milan da Freguesia F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Pedro Luís Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Koper's Bine Šercelj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Viana in the 14th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Inácio de Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Koper's Bine Šercelj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juvenal de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bine Šercelj having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Pedro Luís Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bine Šercelj was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bine Šercelj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Dorival Viana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bine Šercelj was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bine Šercelj didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luís Lima went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the game, Inácio de Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Koper the free kick. Bine Šercelj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio de Lima in the 46th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's Mato Podlogar got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Pedro Luís Lima was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Bine Šercelj made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Pedro Luís Lima sent off a good shot on target. After 61 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Inácio de Lima. Milan da Freguesia F.C. made a substitution. Christian Monteiro replaced Juvenal de Queiroz. Luís Paulo Zonta hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes, Pedro Luís Lima made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. FC Koper's Bine Šercelj tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bine Šercelj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luís Lima's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, FC Koper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Džerfi Škrinjar to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes of play, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Pedro Luís Lima made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bine Šercelj was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Luís Paulo Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s protests and gave Luís Paulo Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. Milan da Freguesia F.C. played a much better game than FC Koper and deserved their victory. The FC Koper players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
